Adrian began his career as an apprentice with Barry Hills in 1996. He was taken on by Derby-winning trainer Ian Balding as an apprentice. In a career that lasted 19 years, he had multiple successes at Group and Listed level, including two Group One victories aboard Regal Parade. He then went on to ride winners internationally in 12 different countries before retiring to become a trainer.
Adrian finished runner-up in the 2022 Leger Legends Race.
It is a charity event and takes place on Sunday 17th September 2023
