The Leger Legends Race is the only British charity race for ex-professional jockeys. For the first time in 2023, it took place on the fourth and final day of the St Leger Festival at Doncaster Racecourse. As the feature race it captured the attention of the national racing media and increased the number of racegoers to Doncaster significantly. The race, which was first run in 2010, is a focus for a wonderful charity lunch – arguably the most entertaining and fun racing lunch in the calendar. The Injured Jockeys Fund Jack Berry House is the other beneficiary of the event. In 2024 the race will take place on Sunday, 15 September 2024.
